“Fucking nightmares”

I woke up breathing heavily, again. Same nightmares, I see my parents being brutally killed in-front of me.

“You okay there?” Au, my wolf said

“Yea, just these dreams are fucking with my head” I answered

“We better hurry before he wakes up”

I took out my gold inked pen and draw, a small moon below his ears on the back. I mark men with it not because they are my victims but because I don’t want to sleep with the same guy all over again, to avoid attachment and of course commitment.

I mark them because I happen to forget their faces too. This is to make sure, I sleep with them once.

I sleep around, yes. Not much though, I started when I turned 21 right after a jerk who I was with, broke every bit of me but that’s in the past, I have moved on well any way, I know wolves supposed to have their mates on their 18th but that’s not the case for me but I don’t mind, really. I enjoy my life. I sleep around usually with humans, I avoided wolves but merely because to cause less problems, but I did sleep with three wolves when I turned 21 but now that I’m 24, I decided on going for humans.

I sneak out before the guy I slept with open his eyes. I soon as I got to my car, I drove off. I reach the pack house at five in the morning, usually warriors are already awake and they are.

“Hey Ash!” Dean, a warrior said

“Hey!” I call out, and wave back

Yes, even though I have a let’s say a different attitude and a hobby, people here still looks at me the same. And I love them for it.

I sneak inside the house, I slowly close the door.

“Well, here you are again, third time this week”

“Damn it” I turned around

“Hey there brother” I said and smiled

“You should stop you know. It’s not good for other wolves see you sleep around” he said as he comes near me

I rolled my eyes. “You stop rolling your eyes” he scolded

“Come on, she has beautiful eyes” Danielle said

I hugged her. “Are the twins awake?” I asked

“You spoil your nephews too much” David, my brother said

I chuckled. They look so good together. My brother David Garret is the Alpha of our pack, Silver Moon Pack. His mate is Danielle Piche, she came from France. One day, my brother came home from a business trip, he brought Danielle with her, I never got a problem with that, I see them both as my family, they are like a mother and father figure for me, since I grew up without one.

They had pups already. Twins. Danica and Will Garret. They are both so cute, and I love them to death.

“They are asleep but every time you come home they somehow knows you’re here and they-----”

“Ashley!” a seven-year old girl came screaming while going down the stairs. It’s Danica

“Told you” Danielle said

I caught her in my arms and carry her up. “You’re up early princess, where’s your brother?”

“Here” came down another seven-year-old, Will.

He came towards me and gave me peck on cheeks. He’s not much of a cuddle person. He is mature for his age but sometimes he still acts sweet and caring.

“Where we going today?” Danica asked

“Where do you want go?” I asked, looking at them both

“School” Will said

“Oh right, it’s your first day” I said and Danica pouted

“Don’t worry. I’ll drive you to school. Go up and get ready, I will wait for you down here” I said and they both went to their rooms

I look at my brother and Danielle and they are both looking at me in awe. I rolled my eyes internally.

“Let’s have breakfast. I cooked” Danielle said and we went to eat

“Why did you send them to a school filled with humans?” I ask, as I take a sit

“I just want them to learn somethings from there. To control themselves too” David answered

“Who’s going to watch them?” I asked them

“Mitch, who else?” David said

“He is your Beta. Who’s going to help you with work now?” I asked again

“I’m here, don’t worry too much” Danielle said

“Okay, I am just making sure they are both safe” I said

We ate in peace. After that the kids came running down.

“Ready to go?” I asked

“Here is your food” Danielle gave them lunch boxes

“Thank you, Mommy” Danica said sweetly

“We’re late now, Bye mom, bye dad” Will said, taking Danica’s hand and inside the car

“Where’s Mitch?” I asked

“Right here!” he shouted

“Great, Let’s go! I’ll drop you off”

It was not a long drive; it was like 45 minutes. Even though the pack house was within the woods.

“I’ll ask someone to pick us up. You don’t have to worry” Mitch said

I nodded. I kissed the kids and wave at them goodbye. I was supposed to leave but then someone stopped me.

“Golden?” He said and I look at him confused
