Chapter 1
It was a bright morning at Silver treasure pack. Beams of sun rays shone in the room through the opened window. Hannah Quinton woke up with a faint smile. She was getting married that day.
She was not really happy about it since it was arranged marriage. Her father, alpha Desmond Quinton had arranged her wedding to Aiden Anderson, the second son of Alpha Wilson Anderson, the alpha of Red moon pack.
Hannah reluctantly made her way to the bathroom. She had always dreamt of getting married someday but to her fated mate, not a random man arranged by her father.
She sighed sadly as she recalled how the arranged marriage started.
Hannah walked out of the bathroom and met two females waiting for her in her bedroom.
" Good morning, my lady. We were sent by the alpha to dress you up for the mating ceremony, " the young ladies said in unison.
" Okay, get to work. I don't want to be late for my mating ceremony, " Hannah told the ladies. The ladies got to work immediately.
Some minutes later, Hannah was all dressed up. She looked extremely beautiful. Just as she made to open the door, a maid ran into the room. If not for the sharp reflexes of Hannah, the door would have hit her face.
" What the hell is wrong with you? How dare you barge into my room like that? " Hannah yelled angrily.
" I'm sorry, my lady. There is a problem, " the maid apologised and said at the same time.
" What kind of problem will make you forget the courtesy to knock before entering someone else's room? " Hannah asked angrily.
" It's your bridegroom, " the maid simply replied shakily.
" What about my bridegroom? " Hannah asked curiously.
" He...... he...... he....... " the maid stammered but could not complete her statement.
" He what? " Hannah asked with a raised voice. She was losing her cool.
" He took the money the alpha offered for the marriage and ran away, " the maid said in one breath.
Two months ago............
Hannah was on the training ground having training sessions with the warriors of the pack when one of the palace guards came to inform her that her father needed to see her urgently.
She tried to find out from the palace guard the reason her father sent for her. But he could not reply because he had no idea why alpha Quinton wanted to see her urgently.
Hannah hastily made her way to her father's office with different thoughts running through her mind.
" Good morning, father. You sent for me. Is there a problem?" Hannah greeted and asked as soon as she got into her father's office. She was so curious to know the reason her father sent for her, that she failed to notice the presence of her four brothers in her father's office.
" Easy, baby girl. Father will tell you the reason he sent for you," Daniel, her immediate elder brother said with a smile.
" I wasn't talking to you, Daniel," Hannah snapped at Daniel. Though she was shocked to see her brothers, she maintained a blank facial expression.
" That was rude!" Denis, her third elder brother said and clicked his tongue. Hannah rolled her eyes at him and made to reply him, but her father beat her to it.
" Hannah, I'm sure you are here to see me and not to batter words with your brothers," Alpha Quinton said sternly.
" I'm sorry, father," Hannah apologised immediately.
" It's okay. Have a seat," alpha Quinton said with a smile. Hannah nodded and took her seat.
There was silence in the room for some minutes but it looked like forever to Hannah, who kept tapping her foot impatiently as she waited to hear why her father called her.
" Seriously? Why are you not saying anything?" Hannah asked with a raised voice.
" Watch it dear. You don't talk to father like that Damon, her second eldest brother said sternly. That only earned him a loud hiss from Hannah.
" Father, please tell her why she is here so that she can go back to her training," Dave, Hannah's eldest brother said pointedly.
Alpha Quinton let a loud sigh before he let the cat out of the bag.
" You are getting married in two months, " alpha Quinton said in one breath.
" What do you mean, father? " Hannah asked calmly even though she was red with anger.
How could her father choose her mate? Hannah asked herself silently.
" You see, you are wolfless. It will be impossible for you to find your mate. I don't want you to remain single all your life. So I arranged a mating ceremony between you and the youngest son of alpha Anderson, the alpha of Red moon pack, " alpha Quinton explained vividly.
All the anger Hannah had against her father, was depleted immediately she heard his reason for the arranged marriage.
