Trapped in a distant warehouse that was on fire, Miah Sampson had been drugged and her hands and feet had also been bound, leaving her unable to move.
Through the deadly flames, she looked at her biological sister and her husband, with whom she had just completed their marriage registration at City Hall that morning.
