Future Beta Ashley's Pov
"ASHLEY!" I can hear someone screaming my name but I haven't got a fucking clue who it is.
"This place is amazing!" My best friend Troy shouts in my ear while beaming. I'm glad he's having a great night because we're out for his 18th birthday but honestly, this whole club scene really isn't my thing. I'm more of a movie, beers, and takeaway on the sofa kinda guy.
I feel someone pull on my shirt from behind and instantly I spin around to find Coby smiling at me, fuck he's hot! "I've been calling you!" He leans down as he shouts above the music and I swear if it wasn't for werewolf hearing I wouldn't have a clue what he's saying. The fact that I'm quite small for a werewolf doesn't help either.
I've always been smaller than I should be despite the amount of training that I do, both my build and height have always been smaller than expected of me but neither the docs nor my parents have ever understood why. I have undergone tests and stuck to strict diets and training routers but still, I remain smaller than the average warrior which isn't good when you are the future Beta.
“I heard someone call me but I couldn't see who it was." We talk for a while before he disappears to the bar and Sophie drags me onto the dance floor, I love this girl, she, Troy, and Coby are the only members of our pack who know that I'm gay. Troy and Sophie know being my best friends and Coby knows because we've been fucking each other for the last 3 months, nothing serious, more of a friends with benefits deal. We both want our mates so we won't allow it to become serious.
I turned 18 almost 6 months ago but so far, I haven't had any luck in the mate department and as much as I put on a show and act not bothered inside it's killing me. It's all I've ever wanted since I was a little boy, to find my mate and have my own little family but I guess it just isn't my time yet.
After I turned 18 and didn't find my mate in the pack my dad started taking me out on pack business trips with him a bit sooner than originally planned to see if I could find my mate but not even that has worked so far.
"Let's go shake what our mommas gave us!" Sophie's voice pulls me out of my pitiful thoughts as she screams in my ear and I'm reminded of how much I truly love this girl.
3 hours later, it's past 1 am and thankfully everyone's ready to head home. Everyone is waiting outside but as usual, Troy isn't here but I know exactly where he is and head straight for the toilets, hell this has to be his 3rd or 4th she-wolf tonight, the guy just doesn't know when to stop!
"Troy get your cock out of her and get your ass outside, the cabs waiting." The door to the toilet stall quickly opens and he struts out fly open and his buttons done up wrong.
"Were your eyes closed when you did your shirt up?" He slightly sways holding on to the stall walls and I move forward towards him before he fucking falls.
"I hope you wrapped it!"
"Don't be silly, wrap your willy!" He bellows out giving me his drunk grin and I can't hold back my chuckle; I say that to him before he goes on any night out and I'm glad to know it's stuck in his head.
"Come here asshole!" The girl waves before making a quick exit with beaming cheeks and I get to work on straightening out his shirt while he starts belting out some song I've never heard of, I don't think he has either to be honest I think he's making it up as he goes along.
"Amazinnggg birfdsy!" He bellows out before going a little pale.
"Let's get you home birthday boy." He nods before walking smack bang into the fucking bathroom door and I'm laughing before his ass even reaches the floor.
"Why's the room spotty?" Oh, for fuck's sake! I pull his ass up and practically carry him out to the taxi before he does himself any more damage.
Thankfully we make it back to the house without him throwing up and Alpha Roland meets me on his floor. I linked him to let him know that we were on our way home and I'd need his help and the moment he sees Troy he bursts out laughing before taking him off me and telling me he'll look after him. That poor bastard will be sorry tomorrow, that's defiantly the drunkest I have ever seen him.
"Hey Ash, did you get Troy back ok?" Coby chuckles into my link.
"Haha yeah Alpha's got him, he's gonna pay for this tomorrow."
