Introduction
For three years, Olivia tried to warm the heart of her cold and powerful Alpha husband, Finn. But no matter how hard she tried, his heart remained frozen. When his first love returned, all Olivia received was a divorce agreement. “If I were pregnant with our child… would you still choose to leave me?”She asked, clinging to one last shred of hope. “Yes.”His answer was merciless. Crushed, Olivia closed her eyes and let him go. Later, lying pale and lifeless in a hospital bed, she signed the divorce papers with trembling hands. “Finn, we owe each other nothing anymore…” But the fearsome Alpha—once so ruthless and untouchable—knelt beside her bed, voice low and broken. “Olivia, please… don’t leave me. Don’t divorce me.” It was only after losing her that he realized: she wasn’t the woman he could live without— She was the mate he was destined to love.

Olivia's POV

"Congratulations, Luna Olivia. You're pregnant," our pack's respected wolf doctor, Dr. Helena Kim announced with a professional smile.

I couldn't believe my ears. My hand instinctively drifted to my still-flat stomach, trembling slightly.

"Is there really a life growing in here?" I whispered.

"Yes, Olivia," Aurora, my wolf, responded with joy inside my mind. "I think Finn will be thrilled too."

After three years of marriage to Finn Callahan, Alpha of one of North America's most powerful packs, no one could possibly want this baby more than I did. This child was my hope, my future... perhaps even the bond that would finally make our contract marriage real.

I couldn't help but smile, a quiet curve of my lips as I imagined what our future might look like.

Noticing my expression, Dr. Helena Kim looked up, her own face turning solemn.

"Luna Olivia, your test results indicate you have naturally thin uterine walls. The fetus position is unstable. You'll need to be extremely careful with your diet and physical activities."

She explained while writing my prescription and handing me my card. "Here you go, head to the pharmacy to get your medications."

"Thank you, doctor," I replied softly, rising slowly from my seat.

Dr. Helena gave me one final warning, "Take this seriously! Many wolf mothers who miscarry once are unable to conceive again."

"I understand, doctor. I'll be careful," I assured her with a gentle smile.

After collecting my medication, I left the clinic and slid into the waiting black SUV.

Derek, my pack-assigned driver, started the engine and caught my eye in the rearview mirror."Luna, Alpha Finn's flight lands at three. We have about twenty minutes. Shall we head straight to the airport?"

"Yes, let's go," I nodded, feeling a flutter of excitement.

Finn had been away on business for nearly a month, and despite the complicated nature of our relationship, I missed him desperately.

Especially now that I was pregnant, I couldn't wait to share this news with Finn, hoping it might finally melt the ice between us.

Nine years ago, when I was just sixteen, my father passed away, and the Callahan Pack took me in.

Everything changed when I turned eighteen and discovered I was a rare "scentless" Omega—a wolf without a discernible scent. That very same day, I felt the pull of a bond with Finn. I knew—we were mates.

But Finn was deeply in love with Serena Clarke, a beautiful Beta from the Silver Creek Pack.

I didn't want to come between them. As long as Finn was happy, that was enough for me.I never told a single soul about the bond.

After Serena left for Paris to pursue her acting career, Finn and I unexpectedly spent a night together—something neither of us had planned, and both of us tried to forget.

He believed Finn should take responsibility for me—by marrying me.

What I didn't expect… was that Finn actually agreed. But privately, we signed a three-year contract marriage agreement—because his heart still belonged to Serena.

Still, I loved him enough for both of us, hoping someday he might see me as more than an obligation.

And now, maybe—just maybe—this baby would change everything.

During the drive, I couldn't help pulling out my pregnancy test results, reading them over and over while my hand gently caressed my stomach. Inside me grew our pup - a tiny miracle that would join us in eight months.

"Can you believe it, Aurora?" I asked my wolf silently. "Maybe this will change everything."

"Of course, our pup will be perfect," she responded confidently. "Strong like an Alpha, even if born to a scentless Omega."

At the airport, Derek parked in a prominent spot. "Luna, should you call Alpha Finn?"

Checking the time and assuming his plane had landed, I dialed his number. The service indicated he was unavailable.

"The flight must be delayed. We'll wait," I said, trying to mask my disappointment.

After another hour passed with no sign of him, I tried calling again. Still nothing.

"Let's wait a bit longer," I suggested, knowing flight delays were common. Sometimes they could stretch for hours.

Two hours later, I dialed again. "Hello?" I asked eagerly.

A brief silence was followed by a female voice. "I'm sorry, he's in the restroom. I'll have him call you back."

Before I could respond, the call ended.

I stared at my dark phone screen, momentarily confused. I knew Finn hadn't taken his female assistant on this business trip.

"Who was that?" Aurora growled softly, her protective instincts flaring. "Is he cheat us?"

"Don't jump to conclusions," I told Aurora.

Though ours was a contract marriage, Finn had always been a model husband in public. He wouldn't cheat. He wouldn't risk the pack's stability that way.

I should trust him.
