Leilani Pov.
"Take this to table 13," My boss Arden huffed, passing me a tray with glasses of beer, l served them and cleaned up the next table immediately. It's the weekend and the bar is bustling as always.
Luckily, I'm working 7 hours tonight, l will be done at midnight and l will head to the Night Owls to do some delivery.
"We have some VIPs coming over tonight, the second floor is reserved for them already… Oh speak of the devil," Arden hollered, throwing the mini towel in his hand over his shoulder as he hurried to the group of men in suits that stormed into the bar. It's no surprise that we have dignitaries as regulars, Bar 69 is one of the best and known pub in the city. I was lucky to work here thanks to Arden, although he is a rogue Alpha who left his Pack to start something of his own.
He is totally a savior, especially to an Omega like me with no family to call my own, l can't even remember who my parents were, all the memories of my childhood are that of the Orphanages and l don't really care about them.
Survival is all l care about.
A Pack like Black Creek Pack where the influential rule the city and the entire region irrespective of which rank you are, as long as you have money and power, or be lucky enough to be born in a very powerful household.
You are merely above the law.
And existing with humans is almost as casual as it sounds.
I returned to the counter cleaning up the glasses tiredly, ignoring the piercing eyes l felt on me. It's normal for me to get stared at, l have gotten used to it. It is unusual to see an Omega work, Omegas are fragile eggs that need to be cared for not the opposite.
We come in a handful, we are meant to be pleasured and we are meant to give pleasure, especially to our Alphas.
I'm not different, l do everything to survive.
I dashed into the locker room to change into my usual wear when my eyes fell on an unfamiliar figure leaning by the door.
"Customers are not allowed in here," l said honestly.
"I love your scent," His boisterous voice enunciated and l was taken aback as l looked behind me to be sure he was talking to me, his domineering aura as overwhelming as shortness of breath. l couldn't help but notice his black turtle neck top with his black coat awning on it, down to the black trousers that he matched with his Bottega boots.
The red light in the corridor barely made his face recognisable but l was certain that his black thick hair was trimmed to both sides of his face, his nose pointed a little craftily and his jaw as sharp as a fiend, his shoulders as wide as an…
He is an Alpha!
"I'm not an intruder, Arden knows I'm here… I mean in the bathroom of course."
"Oh, the bathroom is that way!" l retorted pointing in the direction, he might be one of Arden's friends even though he looks too rich to be one. I went on my steps even though he was still standing by the door. I guess he got lost and there is no way I'm waiting to have a conversation with him.
I paused on my steps instantly as he groped my ass, almost fingering me through my jeans.
I immediately pulled his hand away and took a step back "What?" l trailed off, embarrassed to no end. My face flushed betraying me to no end, my body pricked and tingled crazily at his action.
